One year older and wiser too!

This week was the week of all weeks...mostly because it was all about me...just kidding! The week started out amazing when we went to Wal-mart at 11:30 Sunday night to get in line for the new T-Swift album RED! We arrived to no line and no album stand either. We freaked out, and to make matters even worse the worker was clueless that it wasn't out. She questioned our knowledge of the album release date too..the nerve of some people.  In the end she had to go in the back and get us our copies! We checked out and have been listening to it ever since. It makes me laugh every time I get into one of our cars because it's always on!

Monday was a long day because I was so tired but yet had so much to do! For FHE we were doing a Halloween potluck kind of thing and I was in charge of two things to cook and bring. In the end it was worth it because people loved the activity and my food took third place! After FHE we came home and watched Hocus Pocus! It is such a classic Halloween movie and I don't have much longer to watch my Halloween movies. Tuesday work was good, it is so cold in Beaver and Cedar now I hate it! The worst part is it hasn't even snowed yet...I am going to die! After work Hol and I went shopping for my mom and sister's birthday presents and got them mailed out too. I hate going to the post office because it is always so busy and the workers are crabby (can't say I blame them, customers are difficult most times) but this trip was a very good one, Fred the postman was so very helpful and gave me the best service I have ever had. After that I went to institute-saw the most beautiful sunset-then went to the gym! The last two weeks I have been MIA from planet fitness but this week was much better. I guess I was just in a slump or something.

 FHE FOOD PARTY!

Wednesday was the best day of all because it just so happened to be my 23rd birthday!! I love birthdays and I love getting treated like a queen for a day. It started Tuesday after I got off work I came home to a decorated house and my presents all out on the counter. Then later after institute and the gym we stayed up super late watching the grudge and then the little mermaid to calm our thoughts. I took Wednesday off so  I slept in till 9 then at 10 I went shopping with Aubrey. The bookstore was doing a killer homecoming week sale and we couldn't miss it. She surprised me by buying me a sweatshirt and that was my first present of the day! After shopping she took me home and I found my room decorated with balloons and candy, it was the cutest thing ever! The rest of the day went as follows: went to the gym got wished a happy birthday there, went to the Temple too. It was a very slow day so I did almost 30 names and they were stateside names too not Hungarian.  It is awesome to know we have done so many names from Hungary, like 7 months worth, and that we are done for now.  I came home from the Temple and caught my sister red handed decorating the stairwell and the cement around it with beautiful art work. Then while I was showering she made me carrot cake cupcakes and decorated my car too. She also bought me an orange peel smoothie which was delicious. I drank it and checked the mail where I found 2 cards from my mom and Karissa. When Kari came home around 2:30 and we were all kind of tired so we took a nap then woke up and got ready for dinner. Tiana and Randi got off work and came over so I could finally open all my presents. I had opened my grandparents and moms earlier so that was fine. I really have thee best friends and they know me all to well!! I should have taken a picture of everything but I didn't so just trust me when I say I got spoiled. After presents we went to dinner at the Brick Oven, my birthday is seriously full of traditions and Brick Oven is definitely one of them. Our waiter was so nice and took such good care of us, they even sang to me! It was the best. After dinner we rushed out to the Tuachan to watch Thriller!! This is yet another tradition that I absolutely love! It was freezing cold but so great! I loved all the old things they show every year and I loved the new things they brought. After Thriller we had to get some hot cocoa at Mcdonalds to warm our bones and it worked! We then came back to my house for cake and ice cream then called it a night when it was officially October 25th. I had thee best birthday and am so very grateful for the friends and family that I have that care so much about me. I loved getting texts and Facebook notifications all day so thank you all!

Blurry but still so cute
Phonecase that Ran got me!
TWINNERS!

Stupid sun..you get the point!

Since this past week was homecoming week the Thurs'D' activity was a powder puff football game. Aubrey ended up playing and it was so fun to watch her. We made a poster and huddled together under blankets and many layers of clothing. In the end sophomores and juniors won it! After the game we stopped in at good ole McDonalds for a delicious hot chocolate...and were very disappointed. It was too watery and just not good like the previous nights was.

We sure do love our Aubrey!

Friday was a good day, work was good I got off early; when I got home I had a chat with Rand before she left for SLC with McCall and Marie, then I took a nap. Around 8 Aub and I went to Tiana and Brandon's to play games before we headed to a surprise party for a boy in our ward. We got to the bowling alley and to my surprise it was a double party-for me and the boy!!! I was in shock and so happy that everyone came and spent the night hanging out with me! We bowled then came back to my house to play games and stuff. We played a balloon game, cards, and danced on the WII.

My surprise birthday ice-cream cake!
On Saturday I had the house all to myself and just did my own thing until Tiana and Brandon picked me up for happy hour at Sonic and couch shopping. When Kari came home at 6 her, Aub, Tiana, and I went to dinner at Panda Express then went and saw Pitch Perfect. It was so good I loved it and will be buying it when it comes out..I might even go see it in theaters again! We were so in love with the music too that we bought the soundtrack on the way home. We then picked up Brandon and went to Walmart for Sunday dinner items and then came home and danced the night away. We go through these phases where all we do for days is just dance and we are currently in that phase. We red-boxed just dance 4 and loved it! We ended the night with a pizza hut delivery and then went to bed.

This man was my favorite and he is such a stud!
Sunday was really good, church was good and then we had an amazing roommate dinner! I really am blessed to have the friends that I do! I guess that is all for this week, I stumbled upon this graphic and had to share it:

I don't know how true this is but I honestly wouldn't doubt it! The age change for missionaries has already been so good and it's only been one month since the announcement! Amazing...just amazing!

Last week of being 22 years old!

The past week was filled with so many adventures and new surroundings. It is so fun to travel with great friends every once in a while. My week started out awesome because of the weather, this time of year in St. George is just perfect. For FHE we played games at the park and since it was my first time playing ultimate frisbee I really sucked, but it was still fun. We had a decent turnout and ended the night making smores!

Tuesday nothing really special happened but Wednesday afternoon was a different story. I got a call from Tiana and she informed me that she had the day off and wanted to play when I got off. I was so happy and rushed through my last hours of work. We decorated and rearranged her front room, got Dr. peppers, had pancakes, played cards, and watched Law and Order SVU. It was such a great day and I wish she had every afternoon off. Thursday I worked then came home and had to pack and clean and get ready for our trip to Logan. After everyone got off work and school we loaded the car and left, we took a little detour  in Kanarraville for Casey but then were off. I had never been to Casey's house before but I really enjoyed it! I loved how small and secluded it was; it was very calm and peaceful too. We stopped in beaver for dinner then drove all the way to Provo, dropped off Rand at her sisters house then continued on to my grandparents house in Bountiful. When we got there we chatted with my grandparents then stayed up to do homework and play games.

Only picture we took on Friday...I am so mad!
Friday morning we got up bright and early to make sure we had ample time to get to the Temple on time. As it turns out we had plenty of time so we took a pit stop in Brigham City to see the newest Utah Temple, it was so pretty and very small too. I wish we would of had more time to go in but seeing the outside was better than nothing. (Case took most of the Temple pics on her camera it was just easier so you'll see those on another post) After that it was straight on till Logan the drive was absolutely beautiful because of all the trees and different colors we saw. We got to the Temple did a baptismal session then anxiously awaited the debut of Kyle and Morgan Pratt! I really expected the weather to be so cold but it was actually really nice. I also expected Logan to be very small, like the size of Tooele or Cedar City but nope. It was huge and very populated I had the time of my life driving around the town and also on USU campus! I have a slight desire to go to school up there but we will see. After the happy couple came out we went to the luncheon at a really good Mexican restaurant-Cafe Sabor. We had time in between the luncheon and the reception so we took Casey to Mcdonalds so she could finish her homework then we went to the reception. It was very simple and very small but it was nice and had them written all over it. My favorite part was that they had a photo booth I have never been to a reception that had one and I liked it a lot.

Most delicious refreshments EVER! Fat boy ice-cream with hot fudge on top.
After the reception we were not sure what we wanted to do, Case found a ride to Provo so it was just Tiana and I the rest of the time. She really wanted to go to Idaho since we were so close so we did! It was fun to drive the rest of Logan and to be in a different state for a few minutes. After that we took yet another spur of the moment detour to Weber State University. If you don't know I am sort of in a crisis of where my life is suppose to go now so I figure going to prospective places of school and life will help me decide. So far I have loved every campus, and have not narrowed my choices down yet.

The blue dot on the map was us! I thought it was a cool picture!!

After our detour we went back to my grandparents and went right to bed. Saturday we got up went to the gateway and city creek, had lunch with my parents then headed to Provo. We got home around 5:30 then headed to Joey Brown's wedding reception. It was really pretty I loved the blue and yellow color scheme. Plus they served delicious cupcakes, I could have eaten ten of them they were so good. I am way happy for Joey and wish them the best.

After the reception we went to Walmart then just relaxed and watched a movie. Today was a fabulous day of inspiration in my YSA ward, every speaker and teacher just knew what I needed to hear. I was not in one boring meeting today and I love that! Tonight at midnight we are going to wal-mart to buy the new Taylor Swift album RED!! I cannot wait!! Happy Sunday everyone!

Your my sweet Home!

I just love short weeks and I love 3 day weekends! This week was Dixie's fall break which means a short week and a trip home!!! I love going home and wish I could do it more often. I am definitely getting a head of myself though so lets back up. Monday for FHE we did a general conference fear factor. We were split up into 3 teams answered questions and then did some kind of a challenge. Some were easy like making a PB&J sandwich, others were horrible like eating baby food with sardine sauce in it...I was so sick and almost threw up!! In the end we had such a blast and I realized I retained more from conference than I thought. After FHE Rand and I took a drive and looked at the D on the hill. Our boys club put pink bags on the lights for Breast cancer awareness month and it looks great.

Tuesday night I went to Institute it was fabulous, we compared Mark and Luke's accounts of the Saviors life it is very interesting! Wednesday was such a great day, work was so crazy but my friend and new boss Torri did a ride along with me and we just had a blast. The SL driver was super late so we had to drive farther than usual and ended up leaving an hour or so late. In the end we kicked trash and I got off much earlier than I thought I would have. That night we hung out again when her, Kari, and I went to dinner. I seriously have been craving Olive Garden but can't ever go so it was my first suggestion and they jumped on it. Olive Garden is doing this dinner today dinner tomorrow thing it is such a great deal-two meals, salad, and bread sticks for the price of one! We just had fun talking, people watching, and eating. I didn't get one picture though I am so mad! After dinner I went to Tiana and Brandon's house to watch Law and Order: SVU, I wasn't very impressed it was a rather dirty episode. We ended the night playing games and drinking milk shakes.

Thursday was such a weird day I felt like I was in a twilight zone or something. First off I saw such a beautiful sunrise and was amazed! Working early definitely has its  perks. When I got off work I went to the Temple with Holly then came home and had no motivation to do anything. I didn't go to the gym or anything. Finally at like 6:30 I did something productive for a couple hours. After that I was so tired, I could not keep my eyes open for the life of me! I don't know what happened it was weird I usually can stay awake until at least 10:30 but not Thursday.

Friday morning we got up around 7:30 and hit the road for Tooele! It was very rainy and at some points very scary but we made it, we got there and I met up with Heidi for lunch. It has been so long since we hung out and it was definitely needed. I am so proud of her and where she is at in her life and I just know she is going to do so well on her NCLEX coming up. After lunch I went to pick up my siblings from school-I love doing this! It is just great sibling bonding time that I really miss. My brother and sister are so big, my brother is driving now-he is a maniac- and he is in the school play. My sister is just trucking through Jr High and I feel for her I really hated Jr High. After that we just had family time made caramel apples and watched scary movies. Saturday we went to the Halloween store and bought mustaches that we were suppose to wear all day...my brother is the only one who did. We went out to my grandparents house for dinner and ended up going the the Pizza Pasta Cafe. It was so delicious, it was a pizza buffet with all different types of pizza they even had dessert pizzas. It was just so good and I will probably eat there again soon! After dinner we headed back to Tooele and carved pumpkins I am not a very good carver but I still love doing it. After pumpkins we watched a movie, ate ice cream, played phase ten, then went to bed. Sunday we went to church I just loved it; I always love going to my home ward and I hope that never changes. That is it, after church we went home ate dinner, said our goodbyes, and headed for St George! The drive is so long but I love the quality time that is spent with my sister and the conversations we have and it is just the best time!

My mom loves Halloween and decorating...
Us and our crazy mustaches
Siblings!

I love going home but I love coming back to St George it is my second home and even though it is far from the ones I love I am so happy here!
