Last week of being 22 years old!

The past week was filled with so many adventures and new surroundings. It is so fun to travel with great friends every once in a while. My week started out awesome because of the weather, this time of year in St. George is just perfect. For FHE we played games at the park and since it was my first time playing ultimate frisbee I really sucked, but it was still fun. We had a decent turnout and ended the night making smores!

Tuesday nothing really special happened but Wednesday afternoon was a different story. I got a call from Tiana and she informed me that she had the day off and wanted to play when I got off. I was so happy and rushed through my last hours of work. We decorated and rearranged her front room, got Dr. peppers, had pancakes, played cards, and watched Law and Order SVU. It was such a great day and I wish she had every afternoon off. Thursday I worked then came home and had to pack and clean and get ready for our trip to Logan. After everyone got off work and school we loaded the car and left, we took a little detour  in Kanarraville for Casey but then were off. I had never been to Casey's house before but I really enjoyed it! I loved how small and secluded it was; it was very calm and peaceful too. We stopped in beaver for dinner then drove all the way to Provo, dropped off Rand at her sisters house then continued on to my grandparents house in Bountiful. When we got there we chatted with my grandparents then stayed up to do homework and play games.

Only picture we took on Friday...I am so mad!
Friday morning we got up bright and early to make sure we had ample time to get to the Temple on time. As it turns out we had plenty of time so we took a pit stop in Brigham City to see the newest Utah Temple, it was so pretty and very small too. I wish we would of had more time to go in but seeing the outside was better than nothing. (Case took most of the Temple pics on her camera it was just easier so you'll see those on another post) After that it was straight on till Logan the drive was absolutely beautiful because of all the trees and different colors we saw. We got to the Temple did a baptismal session then anxiously awaited the debut of Kyle and Morgan Pratt! I really expected the weather to be so cold but it was actually really nice. I also expected Logan to be very small, like the size of Tooele or Cedar City but nope. It was huge and very populated I had the time of my life driving around the town and also on USU campus! I have a slight desire to go to school up there but we will see. After the happy couple came out we went to the luncheon at a really good Mexican restaurant-Cafe Sabor. We had time in between the luncheon and the reception so we took Casey to Mcdonalds so she could finish her homework then we went to the reception. It was very simple and very small but it was nice and had them written all over it. My favorite part was that they had a photo booth I have never been to a reception that had one and I liked it a lot.

Most delicious refreshments EVER! Fat boy ice-cream with hot fudge on top.
After the reception we were not sure what we wanted to do, Case found a ride to Provo so it was just Tiana and I the rest of the time. She really wanted to go to Idaho since we were so close so we did! It was fun to drive the rest of Logan and to be in a different state for a few minutes. After that we took yet another spur of the moment detour to Weber State University. If you don't know I am sort of in a crisis of where my life is suppose to go now so I figure going to prospective places of school and life will help me decide. So far I have loved every campus, and have not narrowed my choices down yet.

The blue dot on the map was us! I thought it was a cool picture!!

After our detour we went back to my grandparents and went right to bed. Saturday we got up went to the gateway and city creek, had lunch with my parents then headed to Provo. We got home around 5:30 then headed to Joey Brown's wedding reception. It was really pretty I loved the blue and yellow color scheme. Plus they served delicious cupcakes, I could have eaten ten of them they were so good. I am way happy for Joey and wish them the best.

After the reception we went to Walmart then just relaxed and watched a movie. Today was a fabulous day of inspiration in my YSA ward, every speaker and teacher just knew what I needed to hear. I was not in one boring meeting today and I love that! Tonight at midnight we are going to wal-mart to buy the new Taylor Swift album RED!! I cannot wait!! Happy Sunday everyone!

Your my sweet Home!

I just love short weeks and I love 3 day weekends! This week was Dixie's fall break which means a short week and a trip home!!! I love going home and wish I could do it more often. I am definitely getting a head of myself though so lets back up. Monday for FHE we did a general conference fear factor. We were split up into 3 teams answered questions and then did some kind of a challenge. Some were easy like making a PB&J sandwich, others were horrible like eating baby food with sardine sauce in it...I was so sick and almost threw up!! In the end we had such a blast and I realized I retained more from conference than I thought. After FHE Rand and I took a drive and looked at the D on the hill. Our boys club put pink bags on the lights for Breast cancer awareness month and it looks great.

Tuesday night I went to Institute it was fabulous, we compared Mark and Luke's accounts of the Saviors life it is very interesting! Wednesday was such a great day, work was so crazy but my friend and new boss Torri did a ride along with me and we just had a blast. The SL driver was super late so we had to drive farther than usual and ended up leaving an hour or so late. In the end we kicked trash and I got off much earlier than I thought I would have. That night we hung out again when her, Kari, and I went to dinner. I seriously have been craving Olive Garden but can't ever go so it was my first suggestion and they jumped on it. Olive Garden is doing this dinner today dinner tomorrow thing it is such a great deal-two meals, salad, and bread sticks for the price of one! We just had fun talking, people watching, and eating. I didn't get one picture though I am so mad! After dinner I went to Tiana and Brandon's house to watch Law and Order: SVU, I wasn't very impressed it was a rather dirty episode. We ended the night playing games and drinking milk shakes.

Thursday was such a weird day I felt like I was in a twilight zone or something. First off I saw such a beautiful sunrise and was amazed! Working early definitely has its  perks. When I got off work I went to the Temple with Holly then came home and had no motivation to do anything. I didn't go to the gym or anything. Finally at like 6:30 I did something productive for a couple hours. After that I was so tired, I could not keep my eyes open for the life of me! I don't know what happened it was weird I usually can stay awake until at least 10:30 but not Thursday.

Friday morning we got up around 7:30 and hit the road for Tooele! It was very rainy and at some points very scary but we made it, we got there and I met up with Heidi for lunch. It has been so long since we hung out and it was definitely needed. I am so proud of her and where she is at in her life and I just know she is going to do so well on her NCLEX coming up. After lunch I went to pick up my siblings from school-I love doing this! It is just great sibling bonding time that I really miss. My brother and sister are so big, my brother is driving now-he is a maniac- and he is in the school play. My sister is just trucking through Jr High and I feel for her I really hated Jr High. After that we just had family time made caramel apples and watched scary movies. Saturday we went to the Halloween store and bought mustaches that we were suppose to wear all day...my brother is the only one who did. We went out to my grandparents house for dinner and ended up going the the Pizza Pasta Cafe. It was so delicious, it was a pizza buffet with all different types of pizza they even had dessert pizzas. It was just so good and I will probably eat there again soon! After dinner we headed back to Tooele and carved pumpkins I am not a very good carver but I still love doing it. After pumpkins we watched a movie, ate ice cream, played phase ten, then went to bed. Sunday we went to church I just loved it; I always love going to my home ward and I hope that never changes. That is it, after church we went home ate dinner, said our goodbyes, and headed for St George! The drive is so long but I love the quality time that is spent with my sister and the conversations we have and it is just the best time!

My mom loves Halloween and decorating...
Us and our crazy mustaches
Siblings!

I love going home but I love coming back to St George it is my second home and even though it is far from the ones I love I am so happy here!

Spiritual High

This week was just so great I hope this post does it justice! Monday before FHE I decorated our apartment! I seriously love October and could not wait another day to decorate. It isn't much but I love it. For FHE we went trick or treating for cans; the holiday seasons are approaching and there are many people that are in need. In the end we gathered 180 items of non-perishable goods and took them to our local homeless shelter. I love doing service and love seeing it in action.

All the cans in my trunk!

Tuesday was a very special day, my roommate Karissa from summer 2010 came to town and we hung out! We met up at 8:00 and went to the pizza factory it was delicious. We then went to surprise Case-face and played with her for an hour or so then called it a night. Wednesday we hung out again and went to swig-she has never been! I must have been a horrible roommate that summer if I never took her. Her and Tyson-her husband-went to the Tuachan so we only hung out that afternoon. After they left I took a nap while waiting for Randi to get off work. Instead of going to the gym we decided to run to the Temple and back, which is a total of 3 miles. We started out walking and talking then without realizing it walked all the way to the Temple...oops! We did run back though and were content with that. Our favorite past time is watching movies and star gazing, so after our run, showers, and dinner we went up to the old airport and watched shes the man! After it was over we helped Kari with her school project which was a lot of fun. By the time we got done it was way past my bedtime so I called it a night.

The flash was so bright and Rand could not open her eyes! Haha

Thursday was good work was steady and I got my flu shot! Everyone says not to get one but I do every year and have never had any problems (knock on wood now). Honestly I have no choice because IHC makes you get one, unless of course it is against your religion which to me is super weird but to each their own. After work I went to the gym and had such a great workout. Some days I go and have crappy workouts others days just rock. After the gym and dinner we watched GLEE!! It was such a sad episode we all balled our eyes out. Everyone broke up and it was just depressing, the songs were all awesome though. The worst part was finding out that it won't be on again until November 8th!!! Ridiculous!

I really feel like since school started our weekends rock and are so full of fun things to do. This weekends was proof of that. Friday started when Rand and I went to lunch, she loves Port of Subs and I have never been there so we went. After that I took a nap then Kari, Aub and I went to Red Robin for dinner and then hit up the corn maze!! I love the corn maze and was so happy we went.

The best part if this weekend was General Conference! I loved every minute of each session and every question I had before was answered! My spiritual cup is now over flowing and I have many goals and many things to work on, wish me luck! So Saturday was spent watching conference and playing card games, going to Deseret Book's ladies night and hanging out with Tiana, Kari, and Aubrey. We went to wingers for dinner, Walmart, and then old navy to shop off the clearance racks. After all that Kari and I came home for a while got bored then went to Tiana and Brandon's house for ice to make orange julius. We ended up staying for hours just playing card games and talking about life. We came home and we watched this show about a guy who saves tattoo businesses-it was very entertaining.

Today we just watched conference, ate dinner, watched once upon a time and now just getting ready for the upcoming week. I know everyone is talking about the age change for missionaries but I have to share these two graphics, I know this change is for the best and that a lot more people are going to go because of it! It is going to be weird but definitely worth it in the end!

I hope that everyone had a great weekend and that you enjoy your week!!
